“Sangeet-Samvaad”… A dialogue through music and about music…

Indian classical music is among the oldest art forms. We can trace the existence of its rich tradition since centuries. To learn nuances of Indian classical music, consistent efforts are needed. To introduce concepts of Indian classical Music to the music lovers – a two day workshop of Indian Classical Music “Sangeet-Samvaad” is jointly organized by Institute of distance and open learning (IDOL) & Department of Music, University of Mumbai on 15th& 16th October 2016 at IDOL building, University of Mumbai, Vidyanagri, Kalina, Santacruz (E).

Some very well-known Gurus and artists like Pt. MurlimanoharShukla, Pt. VibhavNageshkar, Dr. Anaya Thatte, Dr. KunalIngale, Dr. ChetnaBanavat, Dr. ManeeshaKulkarni, Smt. VidyaKhandwe, Dr. AmbujaSalgaonkar and Dr. AtindraSarvadikar are conducting sessions in this workshop. These personalities are noteworthy in the field of music for past many years.
